The College has a platoon of 50 cadets SD/SW (Boys and Girls). 33% of seats are reserved for Girls. Training of N.C.C. cadets, according to the revised policy effective from 2010-11, is over three years.
N.C.C. unit of College has a track record of participating in the Republic Day parade in New Delhi, almost every year. Besides branching out into other fields, N.C.C. Cadets have the distinction of joining the armed forces as officers.
Aim of N.C.C.
The NCC aims to develop character, Comradeship, Discipline, a Secular Outlook, the Spirit of Adventure and Ideals of Selfless Service amongst young citizens. Further, it aims at creating a pool of organized, trained and motivated youth with leadership qualities in all walks of life, who will serve the Nation regardless of the career they choose. Needless to say, the NCC also provides an environment conducive to motivating young Indians to join the armed forces.
- To Develop Character, comradeship, Discipline, Leadership, Secular Outlook, Spirit of Adventure, and Ideals of Selfless Service amongst the Youth of the country.
- To create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth, to provide leadership in all walks of life and to be always available for the service of the nation.

NCC Unit MLSM College, Sundernagar conducted a special ANTI TB campaign
A total of 60 NCC CADET along with Principal (Prof.) Dr. Suman Kumari Katoch, ANO Captain Dr. Kamlesh Sen, Dr. Vandana Sethi, Dr. Neha Sen , Ambika Sharma, Dr. Lokesh Sharma, Dr. Aksant from physical education department was present in the event. Cadets make posters on ANTI TB campaign. ANO Captain Dr. Kamlesh Sen briefed cadets about the numerous harmful effects of TB and also briefed about gv precautions that one should take. The event was conducted successfully and all cadets participated wholeheartedly, reflected the spirit of discipline.An Anti-TB Campaign Rally was conducted to spread awareness about tuberculosis and its prevention.
NCC cadets actively participated in the rally with great enthusiasm.
The cadets carried awareness messages and slogans to educate the public about TB.
एम.एल.एस.एम. कॉलेज में खेल दिवस का उत्साहपूर्ण आयोजन
एम.एल.एस.एम. कॉलेज में खेल दिवस बड़े उत्साह और उमंग के साथ मनाया गया। इस अवसर पर विद्यार्थियों ने विभिन्न खेलों एवं गतिविधियों में सक्रिय रूप से भाग लिया, जिनमें बास्केटबॉल, फुटबॉल, वॉलीबॉल, बैडमिंटन, दौड़ तथा अन्य एथलेटिक गतिविधियाँ शामिल रहीं।
विद्यार्थियों ने विभिन्न खेलों में भाग लेते हुए खेल भावना, टीमवर्क, अनुशासन और प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक भावना का शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। पूरे परिसर में उत्साह और ऊर्जा का माहौल रहा, जिसने विद्यार्थियों को सक्रिय रहने तथा खेल एवं शारीरिक फिटनेस के महत्व को समझने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
इस अवसर पर प्राचार्या डॉ. सुमन कटोच की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति रही। उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों की उत्साहपूर्ण भागीदारी की सराहना की तथा उन्हें शिक्षा के साथ-साथ शारीरिक गतिविधियों में भी सक्रिय रहने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया।
एएनओ कैप्टन (डॉ.) कमलेश गौतम सेन ने भी कैडेट्स का उत्साहवर्धन किया तथा खेल दिवस में उनकी सक्रिय भागीदारी, समर्पण और टीम भावना की सराहना की।
खेल दिवस का यह आयोजन हर्षोल्लास के साथ संपन्न हुआ।
NCC Unit MLSM Colleges, Sundernagar conducted a special “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign
On the occasion of Independence Day, NCC Unit Mlsm College, Sundernagar conducted a special “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign to promote patriotism, national unity, and respect for the National Flag.
A total of 50 NCC Cadets participated in the campaign with great enthusiasm. The cadets, dressed in their NCC uniforms, carried the National Flag with pride and spread the message of “Har Ghar Tiranga”, highlighting the importance of patriotism and national unity.
The cadets also actively participated in the Independence Day Parade held at Jawahar Park, Sundernagar, showcasing their discipline, coordination, and dedication towards the nation.
The campaign and parade were conducted successfully, with all cadets participating wholeheartedly and demonstrating discipline, unity, enthusiasm, and patriotic spirit.
Enrollment for NCC for the Academic Session 2026–27 Successfully Completed at MLSM College
एमएलएसएम कॉलेज, सुंदरनगर की एनसीसी यूनिट द्वारा बुधवार, 19 अगस्त 2026 को सत्र 2026-27 के लिए एनसीसी कैडेट्स का नामांकन सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न किया गया। इस अवसर पर विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक 130 विद्यार्थियों ने 46 सीटों के लिए भाग लिया ।
कार्यक्रम में कॉलेज की प्रधानाचार्या प्रो. डॉ. सुमन कुमारी कटोच ने बतौर मुख्य अतिथि व कॉलेज के अन्य शिक्षक - डॉ. वंदना शेट्टी ( Chemistry Department), डॉ. रोहिणी राणा (English Department), श्री सुरेन्द्र पाल (Computer Science Department), श्री पंकज (B.ED. Department), श्री अक्षांत (Department of Physical Education) ने शिरकत की और कैडेट्स को अनुशासन, समर्पण, नेतृत्व एवं देशभक्ति की भावना के साथ एनसीसी की गतिविधियों में सक्रिय रूप से भाग लेने के लिए प्रेरित किया।
नामांकन प्रक्रिया एएनओ कैप्टन डॉ. कमलेश सेन के मार्गदर्शन में पीआई स्टाफ सूबेदार भूपेंद्र सिंह एवं हवलदार राजेश कुमार की देखरेख में सम्पन्न हुई। पीआई स्टाफ ने कैडेट्स को एनसीसी प्रशिक्षण, अनुशासन, विभिन्न शिविरों तथा एनसीसी के माध्यम से मिलने वाले अवसरों के बारे में जानकारी दी।

एमएलएसएम कॉलेज में एंटी-टीबी जागरूकता पोस्टर मेकिंग गतिविधि का आयोजन
एमएलएसएम कॉलेज में क्षय रोग (टीबी) के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने के उद्देश्य से एंटी-टीबी पोस्टर मेकिंग गतिविधि का सफल आयोजन किया गया। इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों को टीबी के लक्षणों, बचाव, समय पर जांच तथा उपचार के प्रति जागरूक करना था। इस गतिविधि में कॉलेज के 68 विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। विद्यार्थियों ने आकर्षक एवं संदेशपरक पोस्टरों के माध्यम से टीबी से बचाव, स्वच्छता, समय पर उपचार तथा समाज में टीबी के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाने का प्रभावी संदेश प्रस्तुत किया। कार्यक्रम का आयोजन प्रधानाचार्य डॉ. सुमन कटोच के मार्गदर्शन तथा एएनओ कैप्टन डॉ. कमलेश सेन के नेतृत्व में किया गया। इस दौरान काॅलेज के अन्य शिक्षक भी वहां मौजूद रहे ।उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों को स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता अभियानों में सक्रिय भागीदारी हेतु प्रेरित करते हुए समाज को टीबी मुक्त बनाने में योगदान देने का आह्वान किया। इस गतिविधि के माध्यम से विद्यार्थियों ने अपनी रचनात्मक प्रतिभा के साथ-साथ सामाजिक उत्तरदायित्व का भी परिचय दिया।
